Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
Applying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
Completing production forms documenting services provided
Interacting with customers and explaining services provided
Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
Prepare the job site for treatment
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
Comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces
General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus
Ability to work on roofs and high areas
Lots of moving around — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
Clean shaven face
for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
High school diploma or GED
Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
At least 1 year of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
