Administer and operate the SAP S/4HANA system landscape in the SAP Private Cloud (ECS) environment, ensuring high availability through regular health checks, performance monitoring, and maintenance activities
Manage technical transports, system copies, and release activities using the SAP Transport Management System (STMS), while adhering to change management processes
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve 2nd-level SAP Basis-related incidents; perform root cause analysis, document solutions, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers or SAP ECS when necessary
Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and support package implementations in coordination with SAP ECS, ensuring thorough testing before deployment
Maintain connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., RFC connections), supporting system integrations in collaboration with infrastructure and network teams
Document system configurations and operational procedures while adhering to ITIL-based service management processes

Completed vocational training in IT or relevant higher education such as Computer Science or Information Technology
Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA operations in a Private Cloud / ECS environment
Knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (STMS), change management processes, and system monitoring tools like SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure topics such as network connectivity, RFCs, or system landscapes
Strong analytical skills paired with an organized working style to effectively manage operational tasks across various domains
Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, enabling effective cooperation with cross-functional teams and external partners
