About this role
Role Overview
Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on sustainable revenue growth.
Identify, prospect, and cultivate new client relationships throughout the Capital Region and surrounding markets.
Build relationships with business leaders, nonprofit executives, board members, and referral partners.
Attend networking events, chamber meetings, conferences, and community events as a representative of Capital CFO+.
Schedule and conduct introductory meetings with prospective clients.
Present Capital CFO+'s Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing services to prospective clients.
Develop strategic referral partnerships with complementary service providers.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities.
Work closely with leadership to develop proposals and transition new clients into service.
Meet monthly business development activity and revenue goals.
Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of successful business development or business-to-business sales experience.
Demonstrated track record of growing revenue and developing long-term client relationships.
Experience selling professional services, consulting, or similar business solutions is strongly preferred.
An existing network within New York's Capital Region business community is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Strong organizational and CRM management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
