Manufacture products using detailed instructions in full compliance with all FDA regulations and ISO & Quality requirements, in conjunction with all internal policies.
Interpret customer requirements and document/communicate findings as needed.
Process customer material and internally produced products in compliance with established quality standards and instructions.
Interact (extensively) with production software for all aspects of record-keeping, job assignments and material information.
Participate in Lean process improvement activities including idea generation, root-cause analysis and solution implementation.
Responsibilities could include leading Lean manufacturing project teams.
Maintain the work-center in accordance with established 5S principles.
Develop skills and knowledge required of position through training.
Interact with co-workers, employees in other departments, managers, and support engineers as needed.
Proactively seek additional tasks as conditions warrant.
Comply by all standard SOP and Safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned by manager (cross departmental activities can apply).
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Two (2) or more years of related experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work with a minimum of supervision
Able to perform accurate measurements, in some cases using a microscope
Computer literate
Willing and able to follow company procedures and quality system regulation
Read, write and speak in fluent English
Ability to work in a team environment
Must have a high level of professionalism
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs (15 percent of the time)
Ability to work unscheduled overtime required, at times.
