Responsibilities:
- Hands‑on experience with micro‑segmentation platforms
- High-level understanding of network security architecture (firewalls, routing, zero‑trust principles)
- Strong ability to analyze application dependencies and map east‑west traffic flows
- Experience with configuration drift detection and maintaining policy consistency across environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex, multi‑tier application traffic issues
- Experience collaborating with application owners and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and validate rules
- Clear communication skills for explaining micro-segmentation decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Process discipline around change management, documentation, and policy lifecycle management
- Security‑first mindset with an understanding of risk, exposure, and compliance implications
- Ability to balance enforcement with operational stability (i.e. proficiency in creating and validating least‑privilege policies without disrupting business operations)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous or evolving environments
- Comfort working in hybrid or multi‑cloud environments

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related degree, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
- Four (4) years of experience in IT information security
