About this role
Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join a major financial services project. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of large-scale data solutions using Ab Initio and cloud-native tools while managing agile teams and driving complex data migrations within a high-impact banking environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage DWH and Cloud Agile teams through the full development lifecycle
- Design, code, and deliver business solutions using Ab Initio, including Metaprogramming, PDL, and generic frameworks
- Perform data migration and integration tasks for cloud applications
- Identify the level of effort and enablers required for data ingestion and transformation within the Data Warehouse
- Utilize Hadoop ecosystems, including Hive and Spark, for data processing
- Coach team members and share expertise/insights to improve deliverables
Requirements:
- 5+ years of expert experience with Ab Initio (including PDL and generic frameworks)
- Proven experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
- Strong technical background in AWS (S3, Redshift) and Hadoop (Hive, Spark)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an Agile project setting
