Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their Federal Services Group. This role involves preparing high-quality engineering documents, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards, and building strong client relationships while contributing to projects related to the Department of Energy's facilities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum 10 years of experience with design of mechanical systems for mid level engineer
- Experience working on DOE federal projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of mechanical calculations
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Good writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks if needed
- Professional Engineering license required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Thermal-hydraulic and design modification experienced desired
- Relevant energy system design experience (e.g., HVAC, Hydraulic, Piping) preferred
- Software experience (AFT FATHOM / ARROW / IMPULSE, AutoPipe, HVAC Heat Load / Air Flow) preferred
