Agile Project Manager

Akima Data Management (ADM) provides turnkey solutions that enhance systems and reduce costs. They are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering enterprise-grade low-code applications, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for multiple teams
• Coach teams on Agile principles and practices to ensure continuous improvement and high-velocity delivery
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring stories are "Ready" for development
• Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions to maintain sprint focus
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Appian (BPM/Case Management) and Salesforce (CRM/Experience Cloud) implementations
• Understand the unique constraints and capabilities of low-code platforms to guide realistic estimation and release planning
• Coordinate cross-platform integrations (e.g., Salesforce data triggering Appian processes) and manage dependencies between diverse technical teams
• Manage release schedules, sandbox environments, and deployment strategies in a multi-environment architecture
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing transparent reporting on project velocity, burn-down charts, and release timelines
• Proactively identify technical and schedule risks, developing mitigation plans before they impact delivery
• Manage scope creep effectively by enforcing change management processes within the Agile framework

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in software development
• 3+ years of specific experience managing Appian and/or Salesforce
• Proven track record of delivering projects using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field
• Familiarity with Agile management tools (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, DevOps, etc.)
• Understanding of the SDLC in a low-code environment (Appian Designer, Salesforce Setup)
• Basic understanding of API integrations (REST/SOAP) and data modeling concepts
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required
• Strong servant-leadership mindset
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset for process improvement
• Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred
• Prior FDA experience preferred
