Xero is a company focused on creating efficient solutions for small businesses and contributing to a stronger economy. The Business Development Representative will generate demand for the platform, qualify leads, and collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing a strategic plan to generate demand using marketing, events, and targeted prospecting lists
- Making outbound calls to prospective accountants, bookkeepers, and subsidiaries to generate qualified opportunities
- Using a variety of channels including phone, email, and social media to reach prospects and identify key decision-makers
- Maintaining accurate records of all prospecting activities and tracking progress within the CRM
