Project Civil Engineer – Federal Engineering and Design

As a Project Civil Engineer, you will lead civil design efforts on federal projects, ensuring compliance with regulations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive civil design efforts on federal projects —including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout — ensuring precision and compliance
• Develop detailed planning and design documents, technical specifications, and reports
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality project outcomes
• Ensure all designs meet UFC, DoD, VA, and other federal regulations and standards
• Support proposal development and actively participate in federal RFP responses
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, guiding projects from concept through completion

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Minimum 6 years of experience in civil/site design, ideally with federal clients
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant design software
• Deep understanding of DoD, VA, and federal design standards and processes
• Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to coordinate complex projects
