About this role
Sesheng Company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a high-impact contract role. In this position, you will architect and scale multi-region infrastructure with a focus on automation and high availability across various cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and scale multi-region infrastructure while maintaining an "Automation First" mindset
- Lead incident response and postmortems with a calm, analytical approach
- Drive zero-downtime deployments for mission-critical, high-availability systems
- Manage Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, CDN) and end-to-end security (IAM, Secrets Management, TLS)
Requirements:
- Terraform: Expert-level IaC, including reusable modules and remote state management
- Multi-Cloud: Proven production experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Observability: Mastery of Prometheus (PromQL) and Grafana dashboarding/alerting
- Containers: Deep experience with Kubernetes deployments and Docker
- Automation: Proficiency in Python automation, Bash, and Unix/Linux CLI
- CI/CD: Hands-on with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Experience with Helm and distributed systems
- Handling high-ingest database systems
- Working with OpenTelemetry or advanced observability frameworks
