Longbridge is building a next-generation investing platform designed to make investing more accessible and engaging. They are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to expand and scale their US affiliate and creator acquisition channels, managing partnerships from sourcing to optimization and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Build a deep understanding of the US investing landscape, consumer finance trends, and channel dynamics
- Stay current on platform policies (YouTube/TikTok/Meta), affiliate ecosystem trends, and competitor approaches
- Proactively identify, source, and recruit high-potential partners across affiliate and creator ecosystems
- Create a structured pipeline with clear segmentation (tiering, expected volume, audience fit, content formats)
- Own partner proposals, contract negotiation, tracking setup, payout structures (CPA/CPL/rev share where applicable), and launch plans
- Align incentives and performance expectations to drive measurable outcomes
- Drive partner performance through creative testing, messaging iteration, landing page alignment, and offer optimization
- Monitor funnel quality (registrations → account opening → funding → activation, as applicable), not just top-of-funnel volume
- Build trusted relationships with partners, ensuring they have the right assets, support, and feedback loops to succeed
- Develop partner playbooks, enablement materials, and a cadence for reviews/QBRs
- Work closely with Growth Marketing (measurement, attribution, spend efficiency), Creative (content briefs, ad/UGC guidelines), Product (conversion and onboarding improvements), and Compliance/Legal (review processes, disclosure standards, approved claims)
- Track competitor partner programs, offers, positioning, and affiliate/creator tactics
- Use insights to identify whitespace and refine Longbridge’s partner strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Fluent in English
- 3–7+ years of experience in affiliate partnerships, influencer/creator partnerships, or performance partnerships in the US
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth outcomes (e.g., CPA efficiency, qualified user volume, conversion lift)
- Strong analytical ability: comfortable with attribution, partner reporting, cohort quality, and funnel metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; confident managing commercial conversations
- High ownership and operational rigor: pipeline management, launch checklists, tracking hygiene, documentation
- Comfort operating in regulated categories (fintech, trading, financial services, lending, insurance, etc.) and partnering closely with Compliance/Legal
- Experience in fintech, brokerage, crypto, or consumer finance apps
- Existing network across finance affiliates, publishers, and/or creators
- Familiarity with affiliate platforms/networks and measurement tooling (e.g., Impact, Partnerize, CJ, ShareASale, Everflow, Branch, AppsFlyer—depending on stack)
- Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
- Comfortable building programs from scratch (process, partner tiers, payout models, playbooks)
