Staff Product Designer

Coinbase is a leading company in the blockchain space, and they are seeking a Staff Product Designer to help create intuitive onchain-native experiences. In this role, you'll design across the Base ecosystem, collaborating with various teams to enhance user journeys and facilitate mass adoption of onchain applications.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the overall direction and decision-making for product and design strategy
• Own the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to final production
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and XFN peers to help define and execute on the product roadmap
• Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive for clients
• Participate in regular design critiques to receive and provide feedback on design work
• Blend qualitative and quantitative insights to create beautiful, usable, valuable product experiences for the Base community

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience designing exceptional product experiences
• Contributions to at least one onchain app or experience
• Experience validating design solutions with user research, prototype testing, and quantitative methods
• Comfortable presenting work to a wide range of stakeholders for input at various stages of the design process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You're based
• Onchain-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services
