MIDDLE8 is a pioneering social music platform dedicated to revolutionizing music discovery and fan engagement. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers to build and scale the core infrastructure of the platform, overseeing the development of features for music remixing and ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented team of engineers in building and scaling the core infrastructure that powers our application
- Oversee the development of intuitive features for music remixing, user interactions, and integrations with music ecosystems
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment
- Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative culture
- Partner with product, design, and growth teams to translate user needs into robust, scalable systems
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and agile methodologies
- Implement tools for monitoring, security, and performance optimization
- Recruit and develop a high-performing engineering team
- Contribute hands-on to critical projects, solving complex challenges in real-time audio processing, data management, and cloud infrastructure
Requirements:
- Experience in leading software engineering teams
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in architecture design and deployment
- Experience with user interaction and music remixing features
