Paxos is on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. As a Product Manager for Staking & Lending, you will build new institutional‑grade staking and yield products, integrating external platforms into Paxos’ regulated infrastructure and ensuring compliance with high standards required by global financial institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for institutional staking and yield products at Paxos
- Design end‑to‑end staking and yield experiences for enterprise partners and institutional clients, from onboarding and asset eligibility through ongoing position management and reporting
- Lead complex integrations between Paxos, external staking / yield platforms, custodians, and enterprise partners, including APIs, transaction flows, rewards/interest flows, and reconciliation
- Translate partner and client needs into clear product requirements and specifications; prioritize across assets, chains, and integrations based on impact, risk, and effort
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Operations to ensure products meet regulatory, operational, and accounting requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Partner with Business Development and Sales to evaluate potential providers, shape commercial structures, and support go‑to‑market for new staking and yield capabilities
- Define and monitor key metrics (e.g., staked/yield‑bearing AUM, adoption, uptime, reward/interest accuracy, NPS) and use data to guide iteration
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive research on institutional staking and yield products, including both CeFi lenders and DeFi protocols, to identify new opportunities and inform risk‑aware product design
- Act as the internal subject‑matter expert for staking and institutional yield, educating stakeholders on mechanics, risks, and integration patterns
Requirements:
- 4-6+ years of Product Management experience in crypto, fintech, capital markets, or institutional financial infrastructure
- Proven track record building and launching staking and/or yield products for institutional or enterprise clients (e.g., at crypto infrastructure providers, custodians, exchanges, or institutional platforms)
- Deep understanding of proof‑of‑stake, validator operations, liquid staking, and how custodians and platforms integrate with external staking providers (key management, slashing, reward flows, fees)
- Strong technical acumen and experience working on API‑driven, backend, or platform products; comfortable partnering with engineers on architecture, trade‑offs, and edge cases
- Experience working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk in a regulated environment, ideally in or adjacent to a financial institution, broker‑dealer, trust company, or similar
- Excellent product discovery skills: you can deeply understand institutional workflows and translate them into scalable product capabilities
- Data‑driven decision maker with experience defining and instrumenting metrics to guide prioritization and measure success
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to align senior stakeholders and external partners around a clear roadmap
- Direct experience with institutional staking platforms or liquid staking protocols, including designing reporting, controls, and operational workflows for institutional users
- Exposure to institutional crypto yield and lending businesses, and familiarity with how institutions access CeFi and DeFi yield (collateralization, risk limits, counterparty and smart‑contract risk)
- Experience at a B2B infrastructure company serving banks, brokers, or large fintechs via APIs
