About this role
DriveTime is the largest privately owned used car sales finance and servicing company in the nation, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona and Dallas, Texas. They are seeking an IAM Okta Engineer to shape secure access experiences, automate IAM processes, and integrate systems across cloud and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities:
- Help shape secure, seamless access experiences across the organization
- Provide the right access to the right job at the right time
- Play a key role in shaping and securing identity infrastructure through building secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity access solutions
- Lead efforts to automate IAM processes, integrate systems across cloud and hybrid environments to ensure users have secure, reliable, and streamlined access to the tools and data they need
- Solve complex problems, stay ahead of industry trends, and make a meaningful impact through secure access
Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in IAM protocols (SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, etc.)
- Extensive experience with IAM tools, technologies, cloud and hybrid environments, and other related I.T. proficiencies (e.g., Okta, EntraID, JumpCloud, and Active Directory, GCP, AWS, etc)
- Demonstrable proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, SQL) for automation tasks or certifications are bonus points
- Clear understanding and successful audit readiness related to I.T. control frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, NIST, SOC-2, ISO 27001/2
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years utilizing Okta including a deep understanding of modern authentication protocols, user lifecycle management, APIs, and automation using Okta Workflows is required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing IAM solutions
- 4+ years with a proven track record and a knack for automation and integration, of streamlining IAM processes across applications and systems
- Seasoned and forward-thinking IAM professional who brings both deep technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to the table
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, regardless of technology
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Leadership, initiative, and independent decision-making are key in this role, along with strong project management skills and a proactive mindset
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA
