The Marketing Commercialization Manager will play a critical role in orchestrating product launch deliverables and ensuring successful market entry of new products.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the “How to Launch” process and operational rhythm — establishing discipline around timing, handoffs, and accountability
- Lead cross-functional launch projects, ensuring all marketing deliverables are defined, aligned, and completed on time
- Partner with Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, Trade Marketing, Creative, and PMO to align on launch readiness
- Develop and maintain master schedules, launch checklists, and reporting to keep stakeholders on track
- Own the commercialization side of the stage gate process, ensuring marketing deliverables are met at each gate
- Proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and remove roadblocks to enable smooth execution
- Build quality control and consistency into the launch process by clarifying ownership and enforcing handoff discipline
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercialization and product launches within a company manufacturing durables or consumer goods
- 5+ years of experience working within a stage gate or gated product development process
- 5+ years of experience in commercialization and product launches within a manufacturing company (consumer goods, durables, or related industries)
- Proven ability to manage complex project timelines, interdependencies, and risks
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams
- Solid understanding of marketing deliverables and lead times required for product launch
- Experience driving process improvements and building launch frameworks
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus, reflecting strong project and process management skills
