Bellese is a mission-driven Digital Services Company focused on innovative technology solutions in civic healthcare. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), responsible for maintaining and improving software systems that aid in hospital quality reporting and enhance patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the software at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that supports the Hospital Quality Reporting program
- Continuously strive to modernize these systems while improving them in ways that reduce provider burden and minimize costs to CMS
- Translate the needs of users and the business into digital product features
Requirements:
- 5 or more years as a Product Manager building digital products in a cross-functional agile environment
- Expert knowledge of agile frameworks and principles and the ability to coach and mentor peers as needed
- In-depth knowledge of the requirements management cycle with excellence in defining, writing and testing requirements, acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Superior relationship-building skills in large, complex stakeholder environments
- Exceptional communication skills across business, technical and creative stakeholders
- Proven ability driving progress in ambiguous environments
- Prior experience with operating in a client-facing consulting or contracting role
- Releasing products in a SaaS environment
- Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience (Highly prefer Federal or State contracting experience)
- US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust
- Direct knowledge is great, but knowledge with alternative products is perfectly OK!
- Formal training in a variety of agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe
- 2+ years working on a remote team
- Experience in a rapidly growing small business or startup environment
- Experience building digital healthcare technology products and services
- Experience working in the public sector or a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements
- Background in claims processing
- Healthcare experience in population health or payor experience
