HubSpot is an AI-powered customer platform dedicated to helping organizations grow better. They are seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead the design vision for the credits usage experience, focusing on creating intuitive and cohesive user experiences in the fintech domain.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design vision for the full credits usage experience across discovery, configuration, usage, and support
- Prototype early and often—to explore, align, and de-risk ideas before they’re built
- Weave cohesive experiences across product surfaces, partnering closely across groups in Fintech and our internal stakeholders, core product and platform teams
- Apply deep systems thinking, consistency, scalability, and usability across internal systems and able to translate complexity into simplicity in end-user touchpoints
- Drive product strategy through journey mapping, service blueprints, and high-fidelity prototypes that show—not tell—the future experience
- Mentor designers across the org to elevate craft, designing with and for AI, prototyping maturity, and systems literacy
- Measure design impact through metrics tied to usage, adoption, revenue and CSAT
- Advocate for both users and builders, ensuring HubSpot credits is approachable and cohesive, from purchase through billing. delivers value for customers and partners alike
Requirements:
- Experience designing complex SaaS or platform experiences, particularly in the monetization or financial systems space
- Led end-to-end experiences that cross multiple surfaces or product areas, ensuring connectivity and consistency are designed and upheld
- Expert in AI-first and interactive prototyping (Figma, Lovable, or code-based tools) and use prototypes to think through and communicate systems
- Systems thinker who naturally simplifies complex architectures into clear, connected experiences
- Thrive in ambiguous, cross-functional environments, and can operate independently to set direction
- Both enterprise and consumer grade design experience around billing and payments systems, CPQ and/or usage-based platforms
- Strong product sense—you understand how design decisions influence adoption, retention, and long-term ecosystem health
- Excited by AI and automation, and curious about how AI agents reshape platform experiences
- Care deeply about craft—from conceptual frameworks down to polished interactions
