Design Liaison Engineer

US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions. They are seeking a Gas Power Design Liaison Engineer responsible for managing and executing critical engineering drawing changes and providing technical support to ensure compliance and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• The successful management, substantiation and timely execution of critical engineering drawing changes and tasks
• Provide expeditious technical and project management support and troubleshooting for engineering activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful task completion
• Apply knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement process improvements and/or new ideas that enhance overall function and quality of the parts, reduce cost and reduce defects in manufacturing

Requirements:

• Proven experience demonstrating strong project management, teamwork, and communication skills, as well as a passion for quality and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated proficiency with PLM, NX/UG and Microsoft Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering
• Previous experience with client highly desired
• Years of experience in the Gas Turbine industry
