Senior Technical Business Analyst

BridgeView is a talent and technology consulting company that helps business leaders build exceptional technology teams and deliver complex projects with confidence. The Senior Technical Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the development team and the business, eliciting user requirements and developing functional specifications for digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate cross-departmental teams to transform business requirements into technical requirements
• Work with software engineers and other technology teams to document business needs for digital project deliverables
• Write and maintain software requirements specifications that are clear, complete and executable
• Verify technical design specifications meet user requirements
• Develop a variety of models and diagrams including system context models, data flow diagrams and use case diagrams
• Create user scenarios for user acceptance testing
• Develop deep domain knowledge on key applications
• Partner with the project manager to determine project task estimates, deadlines and deliverables, simultaneously working on multiple projects
• Gain consensus and approval on final requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical business analysis experience
• Experience working of Agile software development methodologies with working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Github
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries
• Experience managing requirements with use cases experience creating software requirements specifications
• Ability to define problems, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations
• Strong experience creating user stories defining business needs for digital solutions
• Highly analytical and detail oriented
• Extensive experience creating business documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
