They are seeking a Director of Performance Marketing to lead strategy and execution across paid channels, focusing on driving measurable growth and building a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Own MNTN’s performance marketing strategy across paid channels (CTV, search, paid social, programmatic, emerging channels)
- Accountable for delivering against signup growth, customer media spend, CAC, and efficiency targets, with performance measured against defined business KPIs
- Lead experimentation across channels, creative, audiences, and messaging—then scale what works
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing performance marketing team
- Own budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting with a strong ROI mindset
- Lead full-funnel optimization to increase signups and conversion rates
- Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Lifecycle Marketing to align on goals and scale
- Bring new ideas, tools, and approaches to keep MNTN ahead of the curve
- Drives measurable growth in qualified website traffic and product signups, with clear accountability to volume and efficiency targets
- Improves conversion rates across the acquisition funnel through disciplined testing and optimization
- Builds and scales a high-velocity experimentation engine across paid channels to unlock incremental traffic and signup growth
- Owns and optimizes paid budgets with a sharp focus on cost per signup and traffic quality
- Partners cross-functionally to ensure traffic and signup growth translates into measurable business impact
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of experience in performance and/or growth marketing, with at least 3+ years leading teams
- Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue through paid channels (ecommerce experience strongly preferred)
- Deep understanding of how to drive action through paid media campaigns
- Strong analytical skills—you're comfortable with the data and know how to turn insights into action
- Experience managing meaningful budgets and scaling efficient growth
- A collaborative operator who partners well across teams and challenges assumptions constructively
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift, and expectations are high
- Experience in ad tech, martech, SaaS, or high-growth startups
- Deep experience with all paid media channels, including paid search, paid social (Instagram and Linkedin), connected TV, programmatic, podcasts, and more
- Experience building performance marketing from a growth-stage foundation
