The BitByBit Company is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join their experienced team. The role involves building web and mobile applications, developing secure APIs, and leading projects independently while working with clients globally.
Responsibilities:
- Have 6+ years experience in Python – building web and mobile applications, preferably Django
- Advanced experience in building modern and secure APIs
- Have worked with Git, Issue tracking, SQL, Mac/Linux terminal
- Can deal efficiently with relational and non-relational databases
- Have know-how about regular usage of unit tests
- Are well-versed in choosing the best tools and libraries to start a project as well as have the knowledge of the language’s quirks
- Have a deep understanding of Docker, Linux and Bash
- Can dissuade a client from providing guidance and expertise in your field
- Have an very good command of written and spoken English (B2+)
- Can lead a project independently
- Have knowledge of at least one JS framework (React)
- Know the Agile methodologies
- Are always willing to help other developers
- Have a know-how of modern HTML, CSS
- Have some DevOps skills (CI/CD, Ansible)
- Are an open-source contributor
