Crossing Hurdles is seeking an Environmental Engineer – AI Trainer to manage environmental impacts and conduct assessments for land use and infrastructure projects. The role involves collaborating with teams on sustainability challenges and using advanced modeling tools to analyze environmental data.
Responsibilities:
- Design or oversee systems and processes to manage environmental impacts across water, air, and soil
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for land use and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address remediation, compliance, and sustainability challenges
- Advise organizations and agencies on regulatory procedures and environmental best practices
- Develop and document project objectives, analyses, and progress reports
- Use advanced modeling, CAD, and GIS tools to analyze and visualize environmental data
- Contribute subject matter expertise to train and refine AI-driven environmental engineering tools
Requirements:
- Proficiency with environmental modeling tools such as MIKE SHE, MODFLOW, Eko, and ESRI ArcGIS/ArcView
- Experience with analytical software including S-PLUS and MATLAB
- Knowledge of hazardous materials management, greenhouse gas tracking systems, and compliance management platforms
- Strong skills in CAD and GIS tools including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CADD systems
- Familiarity with MSDS standards and environmental regulatory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment
