Guild is a company focused on expanding access to education and skilling benefits globally. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the learner experience, ensuring that learners receive real value and improving engagement and completion rates within the product area.
Responsibilities:
- Own strategy and roadmap for your product area, from discovery through delivery
- Lead research and discovery to understand what learners actually need (not just what stakeholders assume)
- Partner with engineering and design to ship quality work on a predictable cadence
- Use data and experimentation to make decisions—track what's working, kill what isn't
- Build quick prototypes using AI-assisted tools to explore ideas before they hit the backlog
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders—keep people aligned without endless meetings
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years in product management, ideally B2B, SaaS, or platform products
- Strong discovery chops—you know how to learn what customers actually need
- Technical fluency—you can have real conversations with engineers about tradeoffs
- Data literacy—you use metrics to inform decisions, not just report on them
- Comfort with AI tooling—you're already using it to move faster, not waiting to be told to
- Clear communication—you can write a tight PRD and present to leadership without a lot of fluff
- Owned a product area end-to-end and shipped improvements that moved real outcomes (not just launched features)
- Led discovery work that changed what the team built—not just validated what was already planned
- Used AI tools to speed up your own workflows (research, docs, prototyping) and can show examples
- Worked on products where you had to balance end-user needs with enterprise buyer requirements
- Experience in education, benefits, payments, or global products
- Background working on consumer-facing experiences within a B2B context
