Riskonnect, Inc. is focused on delivering new value and fostering creativity. The Associate Sales Engineer will support the sales process by working with the Sales team and prospective clients to promote Riskonnect’s risk management solutions, helping to bridge technical and business perspectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting discovery calls with prospective clients alongside the Sales team to gather information on business needs and help document both technical and functional requirements
- Help prepare and deliver engaging platform demonstrations, tailored to address client-specific use cases and needs
- Support the creation and delivery of presentations that highlight Riskonnect’s capabilities and effectively address client challenges
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to assist in designing and building proof-of-concept solutions that showcase the value of Riskonnect’s platform
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, from developers to senior executives, ensuring understanding across different levels of technical expertise
- Assist in determining the resources needed for implementing solutions and help create content for statements of work that support project planning and scope management
- Work closely with the Sales team to qualify sales opportunities, assisting with developing statements of work and helping close deals
- Contribute to creating high-quality documentation for client requirements, design specifications, and implementation details
- Keep informed about industry trends and competitive products to help position Riskonnect effectively in the market
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, MIS, Data Analytics or a related field
- Ideally some experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solution consulting role, preferably within enterprise software or SaaS solutions
- Some basic understanding of enterprise software, risk management solutions, or SaaS platforms
- Some experience in client-facing roles, such as participating in discovery calls or supporting needs analysis and presentations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating across departments to help deliver comprehensive solutions
- Ability to analyze customer needs and support the development of technical solutions that align with business goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences, from developers to senior executives
- Familiarity with system architecture, business processes, or technical concepts
- Salesforce experience
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools
- Ability to assist in product demonstrations, and comfortable presenting in a variety of settings, including sales meetings and events
