Jr. Software Engineer, Applied Team

StabilityAI is seeking talented Junior Software Engineers to join their Applied team, which focuses on designing, building, and deploying scalable tools. The ideal candidate will excel at tackling complex challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with senior engineers to deliver new features and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust tools and solutions to enhance our engineering team's efficiency and development
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and product managers to create scalable, efficient systems
• Work collaboratively with peers across different teams to support and enhance a shared technical infrastructure
• Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices
• Promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team

Requirements:

• BASc in Computer Science with 2+ years of experience, or MSc in Computer Science with prior internship experience
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, debug code efficiently, and automate routine tasks to enhance system functionality
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to varied audiences
• Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to work in an ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
• Proficient in Python, with experience in writing high-quality, maintainable code
• Familiarity with additional programming languages is a plus
• Plus, if you have past experience in the Generative AI space
