KCI Technologies, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned engineering, consulting and construction firm serving clients throughout the United States. They are seeking a Professional Engineer-Diver to conduct underwater inspections, manage marine engineering projects, and ensure project completion on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct underwater inspections of various structures, including bridges, dams, piers, wharves, marinas, ports, bulkheads, and seawalls
- Perform condition inspections and quality control inspections for construction projects
- Engage in structural design and analysis of marine structures
- Prepare detailed technical reports and oversee the plan development process from concept through final construction plans for new structures, rehabilitations, and repairs
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget
Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of all facets of commercial diving and ADCI requirements for surface-supplied air diving
- Proficiency in structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition inspection is highly desirable
- Proven project management experience with a track record of successful project delivery
- Certification by the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) is required
- Professional Engineering License for the designated state is required
- Valid driver's license is required
- Travel up to 50% of the time is a requirement of this position
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (AEC Industry)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects
- Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with bridge, waterfront, and/or dam projects is preferred
- National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification is a plus
- TWIC card is preferred
- Master's Degree
