Platform Engineer (CI)

The Platform Engineer (CI) role involves developing abstractions, frameworks, and tools to support the engineering team in building the product, including CI pipelines and infrastructure services.

Responsibilities:

• Building developer tooling such as CI pipelines, local and staging environments, and helpful CLI tools
• Building monitoring and observability pipelines to ensure we provide highly reliable service
• Building infrastructure services that Aha! product developers can use
• Listening to product developers' pain points and capturing ideas for a more pleasant development experience
• Contributing to the success of the team via code reviews and collaboration

Requirements:

• Two+ years working in Ruby on Rails as well as a Rails codebase
• Managing AWS infrastructure using terraform
• Using containerization and build systems
• Producing fast, efficient, and reliable services
• Running a CI pipeline for a sizable team
