Founding Product Engineer

Jack & Jill is a fast-growing proptech AI startup seeking a Founding AI Engineer. In this role, you will build production-grade agentic systems that automate complex workflows in the physical development industry, working alongside a high-caliber founding team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy production AI agents using frameworks like LangGraph to own long-lived, stateful developer workflows
• Build robust RAG pipelines and reasoning layers for processing complex documents, drawings, and multi-tenant enterprise data
• Develop customer-facing product surfaces and internal tools using a modern stack of Next.js, TypeScript, and Python

Requirements:

• Proven experience shipping production-grade AI agents and agentic systems using tool-calling loops and reasoning architectures
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to own infrastructure, deployment, and security end-to-end
• High-agency mindset with a passion for building customer-obsessed outcomes in document-heavy, complex industry environments
