The Sales Engineer, Filter Fabrics will be responsible for identifying customer needs, aligning technical solutions, and developing application specific offerings while maintaining relationships and pursuing new business opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop key account strategies to assure a competitive position and maximize order intake
- Maintain the current book of business within the assigned Mid-Atlantic region while pursuing all new leads and sales proposals
- Proactively engage in prospective efforts to generate new customers
- Understand customers’ technology selection process, enabling strategic positioning of products and services to align with their requirements
- Coordinate filter cloth sizing and proposal process
- Serve as a vital link between cross-functional teams to facilitate information transfer of new orders
- Effectively collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to manage post-sale customer relationships
- Create and present presentations that showcase our products and services at relevant trade shows
- Demonstrate flexibility to cross sell additional Komline products
- Update and maintain Salesforce Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: Engineering and Chemistry disciplines preferred
- 3-5 years of experience selling capital equipment with filtration, liquid-solid separation, and processing experience preferred
- Demonstrated track record of revenue growth or new market development
- Breadth and depth of industrial scope to expand our business capabilities
- Demonstrated capability in developing customer relationships and customer accounts
- Ability to respond to time sensitive environments with multiple priorities
- Able to travel up to 60% domestically
- Experience in pre-contract, lab testing, application engineering, post contract project engineering, mechanical design, parts, and post-sale cycle
