Circle Logistics is expanding, and they are seeking experienced Cradle-to-Gate representatives who are ready to build a book of business and grow into Branch leadership. This full-cycle business development role involves cold calling, selling services, onboarding accounts, and managing freight with carriers while benefiting from strong operational support.
Responsibilities:
- Cold call and proactively prospect shippers to expand market presence and generate new business
- Sell Circle’s transportation solutions and convert leads into long-term accounts
- Fully manage and grow the accounts you bring on — relationship, service, retention, solutions
- Cover your own freight: develop carrier partnerships, negotiate rates, ensure profitability
- Monitor service performance, address escalations, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- Work directly with leadership on pricing and account strategy
- Maintain service KPIs and uphold Circle’s communication and performance standards
- Leverage provided technology for prospecting and pipeline development, including SalesIntel, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales
- Comfort and confidence with cold calling, outbound sales, and building a book from scratch
- Proven success managing both shipper accounts and carrier relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with CRMs ie: HubSpot, SalesIntel, and ZoomInfo (all provided)
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
- Leadership-minded with ambition to move into Branch Management
