Okta EndPoint Engineer

JMD Technologies Inc. is seeking an Okta EndPoint Engineer to lead the design and implementation of endpoint management solutions. The role involves collaborating on architecture for UEM, providing technical leadership, and ensuring compliance with identity-based access models.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on architecture and design for UEM across Workspace ONE and Intune
• Design scalable endpoint management solutions for Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android
• Provide technical leadership for application packaging and configuration management
• Define and maintain standards, reference architectures, and best practices
• Lead technical planning, design, and execution for major UEM initiatives
• Strong Identity experience: proven expertise with Okta (app integrations, SSO, policy-driven access) and aligning endpoint posture with identity-based conditional access in cloud-first environments
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Strong API experience: proven track record leveraging REST APIs (Workspace ONE, Microsoft Graph/Intune, Okta) for automation, tooling, Atlassian software integration, and operational visibility
• Partner with Security and Identity teams to align UEM architecture with compliance and access models
• Drive automation and process improvements to reduce manual effort
• Mentor UEM engineers and administrators, providing technical coaching and design guidance
• Communicate architecture decisions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
