Confidential is an advertising and marketing services organization seeking a Microsoft Fabric Engineer to support the evolution of its enterprise data platform. The role involves designing and building scalable lakehouse architectures and modern data pipelines to enhance campaign performance and customer insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Factory, Notebooks, and Power BI
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, programmatic platforms, CRM systems, and web analytics tools
- Architect medallion/lakehouse data models to support campaign analytics, attribution modeling, and customer segmentation
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and client delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Migrate legacy or fragmented data workflows into modern Microsoft Fabric architecture
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across reporting and analytics environments
- Support enterprise Power BI semantic models and reporting used by internal stakeholders and external clients
- Partner with cross-functional teams including data science, media, and engineering to enable advanced analytics and AI initiatives
- Document architecture, pipelines, and best practices to support long-term scalability
Requirements:
- Current or recent experience working within an advertising agency, marketing services firm, digital agency, or MarTech organization (required)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric in a production environment
- Strong experience with Azure data ecosystem technologies
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL (T-SQL) for data engineering and transformation
- Experience building lakehouse or medallion architectures
- Strong Power BI experience including semantic modeling and performance optimization
- Experience integrating marketing, advertising, or customer data platforms
- Understanding of data governance, testing, and deployment best practices
- Experience working with large-scale campaign or media data
- Familiarity with attribution modeling, customer journey analytics, or marketing performance measurement
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps practices
