Mechanical Engineer Intern (2025 - 2026)

BeamSphere is an engineering consultancy firm seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern for the 2025-2026 academic year. The intern will assist with research, testing, and evaluations while collaborating with various teams on process improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with various research, testing, and evaluations
• Processing documentation and conducting data analysis
• Conducting manufacturing audits
• Attending department, team and project meetings as necessary
• Assisting with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing
• Collaborating with other engineers, teams and departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial and Systems Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or product design
• Skills or coursework in areas such as CAD/3D modeling, machining, data analysis, Lean/continuous improvement, or automation
