Payments Product Manager - fintech

Vika Talent Solutions is seeking a Payments Product Manager to build a new product in the payments and bank data infrastructure sector. The role involves leading product discovery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and shaping a product that safeguards financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead product discovery and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate problem statements around payment fraud prevention and bank account verification
• Build and own core modules that touch areas like payment rails, account ownership validation, and transaction risk detection
• Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to translate domain expertise into scalable product features
• Continuously evolve the product strategy based on customer feedback and emerging trends in payment security and infrastructure

Requirements:

• Strong domain experience in the payments ecosystem whether via banking, fintech, or infrastructure platforms like Plaid, Stripe, or B2B payment networks
• Understanding of payment rails, fraud detection, and banking infrastructure
• Exposure to products used for vendor payments, payroll, or customer transactions
• You don't need to be a senior product leader but you should be high-agency problem solver, hands-on, and deeply curious about building in this space
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to distill complex financial workflows into clear, scalable solutions
• Prior experience working in early-stage product development or 0-to-1 environments
• Experience building internal tools or enterprise SaaS in finance, compliance, or data infrastructure
• Technical fluency in banking APIs, security protocols, or payment risk modelling
• A former background in engineering or technical consulting before moving into product roles
