Lumira is a fast-growing, Series A Digital Mental Health provider dedicated to reimagining how therapy is delivered. This role involves shaping the technical vision, building and scaling the engineering function, and leading platform innovation as the organization expands.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and scale an AI-powered technology platform within the healthcare space
- Oversee delivery of core products across the full stack, supporting both end users and clinical stakeholders
- Set technical direction and ensure strong execution across multiple engineering streams
- Establish high standards for speed, quality, and system reliability
- Translate advanced data and AI capabilities into robust, secure, production-ready solutions
Requirements:
- +10 years of experience developing complex, large-scale web and mobile systems
- Proven leadership background (5+ years) managing engineering teams, including senior engineers and team leads
- Strong hands-on expertise across modern full-stack technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, backend services, Python) and cloud-based infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience designing scalable, distributed architectures and service-oriented systems
- Comfortable operating in highly regulated environments with rigorous security and data protection standards. (e.g., HIPAA)
