Dynatrace Engineer

TekStream Solutions is seeking a Dynatrace Engineer for a long-term contract who will deploy, manage, and support Dynatrace Application Performance Management tools. The role involves troubleshooting performance issues, developing dashboards, and analyzing data to enhance application performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deploying and managing Dynatrace solutions in enterprise environments, including on-premise and cloud deployments
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving performance issues in applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace tools
• Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualize performance data and track key metrics
• Extracting, analyzing, and presenting performance data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Building and maturing observability practices, including APM, dashboards, and synthetic monitoring using Dynatrace
• Integrating Dynatrace with other IT systems and tools, such as ServiceNow for ITSM
• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps for automated observability configurations
• Participating in on-call rotations to provide support during off-peak hours

Requirements:

• Proven experience with deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Dynatrace solutions
• Strong background in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), scripting languages, and tools used for monitoring and automation
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow
• Experience with digital experience monitoring tools and concepts
