Epic Project Manager

TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking an Epic Project Manager to support the Strong Expansion initiative focused on the inpatient Epic EMR expansion. The Project Manager will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure alignment with organizational objectives throughout the expansion effort.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project activities for the inpatient Epic software expansion, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables meet project standards
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including clinical leadership, Epic analysts, and technical staff
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and communications using standard project management methodologies
• Ensure project documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communications are clear, timely, and accurate
• Support change management efforts related to Epic workflows, training, and adoption
• Facilitate meetings, track project milestones, and provide ongoing updates to leadership
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain alignment with broader Strong Expansion program goals

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience within healthcare, Epic, or EMR‑related environments
• Demonstrated experience managing technology and/or clinical system projects
• Strong understanding of Epic workflows and implementation practices (Epic certifications not required)
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a complex environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• PMP certification or other recognized project management credential
• Previous experience with large‑scale hospital or inpatient expansion projects
