Scada Engineer

PDSSOFT INC. is seeking a SCADA/IoT Systems Support Engineer with over 8 years of experience. The role involves validating SCADA application services, ensuring data flow integrity, and performing on-site evaluations and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Validate SCADA application services, dashboards, alarms, historian links, and overall performance post migration
• Test PLC connectivity and confirm accurate, uninterrupted data flow between field devices and SCADA
• Verify loT sensor interaction, data acquisition stability, and connectivity of edge devices
• Check certificates, encryption settings, security policies, and communication trust relationships
• Document test results, record observations, track issues, and work with infra and security teams for resolution
• Travel to different plant or site locations to perform on site evaluation, testing, and coordination

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience
• Validate SCADA application services, dashboards, alarms, historian links, and overall performance post migration

• Strong hands on experience with SCADA systems and PLC
• Communication troubleshooting
• Good understanding of loT sensors, gateways, field data flow, and industrial protocols
• Ability to validate certificates, encryption standards, and secure communication channels
• Solid grasp of OT networks, segmentation, firewalls, and OT security best practices
