Data Engineer

Marlabs is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical domain. The role involves leading the implementation and maintenance of analytics platforms, managing IT service operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, and maintenance of scalable and robust analytics platforms
• Manage IT service operations to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of the analytics platform
• Deliver an exceptional user experience by ensuring the platform meets the needs of its users. Implement user feedback to improve platform functionality and usability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements & translate them into technical solutions
• Oversee the integration of various data sources to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility
• Ensure the platform's performance, security, and reliability through continuous monitoring and optimization
• Implement and manage IT service management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problems, and change management. Enforce these processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Ensure the platform's security and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Manage resources through vendor partners, ensuring they meet performance and service level agreements. Oversee vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
