OIPA Engineer with Java & SQL Experience

Compunnel Inc. is seeking an OIPA Engineer to support and upgrade the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration platform. The role primarily focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting, with some development work involved.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the current OIPA platform
• Upgrade from OIPA v10.2 to v11
• Support Life & Annuity products
• Work in a cloud-enabled environment (recent OIPA cloud migration)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of strong Oracle OIPA experience
• Hands-on expertise with OIPA configuration language
• Hands-on expertise with AS files
• Hands-on expertise with Integrations
• Hands-on expertise with Policy, roles, allocation & valuation screens
• Hands-on expertise with OIPA extensions
• Hands-on expertise with Palette & application security
• Hands-on expertise with Data intake & extraction
• Hands-on expertise with Release management
• Java (1.8) – mainly for troubleshooting/maintenance
• Oracle Database (SQL queries + debugging stored procedures)
• Experience with policy administration systems (Life & Annuity preferred)
• Must be based in EST time zone (US)
• AWS or Kubernetes
• Docker
• Cloud computing experience
• AWS Certification
• UML, Design Patterns
• TDD (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor)
• WebLogic / WebSphere
• UNIX & Windows environments
