Sogeti is part of the Capgemini Group and focuses on delivering innovative technology solutions for organizations. They are seeking Agentic AI Engineers to design and operate enterprise-grade AI systems that leverage autonomous agents for impactful business applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement agentic AI systems that decompose goals into tasks, reason across steps, and execute actions using tools, APIs, and workflows
- Build single‑agent and multi‑agent architectures, including planner and executor patterns, supervisor agents, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows
- Engineer tool‑calling and function‑based agents that interact with enterprise systems such as APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and workflow engines
- Integrate large language models into applications and platforms using retrieval‑augmented generation to ground responses in trusted enterprise data
- Design chunking, embedding, ranking, and citation strategies to improve accuracy, relevance, and trust
- Evaluate and integrate LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar providers based on quality, cost, latency, and compliance needs
- Embed agentic capabilities into business applications, portals, copilots, and internal tools
- Integrate AI solutions with cloud‑native services, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and orchestration platforms
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, UX, and platform teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
- Implement enterprise guardrails such as role‑based access control, content filtering, grounding, and response validation
- Design observability for agentic systems, including logging, tracing, metrics, and evaluation frameworks
- Support security, privacy, responsible AI, and compliance requirements in regulated or enterprise environments
- Translate business problems into agentic AI designs and clearly communicate trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Contribute to proofs of concept, pilots, and production deployments across client and internal initiatives
- Share knowledge, mentor other engineers, and contribute to reusable patterns, standards, and accelerators
Requirements:
- Experience in software engineering, application development, automation, data platforms, or AI engineering
- Proficiency in Python; experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C# is a plus
- Experience designing or integrating APIs, services, or cloud‑based systems
- Hands‑on experience working with generative AI in real projects, not just experimentation
- Familiarity with agentic or orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar tools
- Experience or interest in retrieval‑augmented generation, vector databases, or enterprise search
- Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, or modern deployment practices
- Understanding of identity, security, and access control in enterprise systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with workflow or automation platforms such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, ServiceNow, or n8n
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, or copilot extensibility
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLMs or agentic systems
- Exposure to responsible AI, AI governance, or regulated industries
- Consulting, client‑facing, or solution architecture experience
- Experience with agentic development tools or IDEs such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini CLI
