Novant Health is committed to improving the health of communities, and they are seeking a Project Manager II for Community Health to support the growth and operational excellence of Community Health Services. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure programs are scalable and aligned with enterprise priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the growth and integration of Community Health Services across multiple regions and markets
- Guide integration strategy and operational execution as Community Health initiatives expand into new markets
- Ensure alignment with Novant Health’s enterprise standards, system priorities, and departmental capabilities
- Lead and manage projects focused on: Health Equity and Community Health performance plans and KPIs, Community outreach events, communications, and engagement strategies, Program development and optimization, Enterprise standardization and operational excellence, Patient experience improvement initiatives, Program evaluation and data-driven analysis
- Own project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans
- Ensure the successful implementation of outreach strategies, business plans, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate and facilitate multi-disciplinary teams, engaging team members at all levels of the organization
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment that supports shared accountability and outcomes
- Leverage strong relationship management skills to align stakeholders and maintain project momentum
- Coordinate workflows and enhance operational processes to support Community Health initiatives
- Partner with clinical and operational teams to optimize EPIC workflows that support community health programs
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and sustainability across programs
- Consolidate, aggregate, and analyze key performance metrics related to Community Health and Health Equity
- Translate performance data into actionable insights to inform leadership decisions and program improvements
- Support program evaluation through qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Translate complex operations and outcomes into clear, compelling communications for internal and external audiences
- Support change management efforts by clearly communicating goals, progress, and impacts of Community Health initiatives
- Use effective communication, collaboration, and organizational knowledge to ensure deliverables function efficiently throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare preferred
- Passion for health equity and community health
- Embrace teambuilding and possess strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Flexibility and a desire to drive change from the business perspective
- Comfortable working in settings with vague project parameters; able to identify tangible outputs to reach project implementation
- Strong analytical skills: able to quickly absorb and process large amounts of data to reach sound business conclusions
- Excellent coordination, organizational, and computer skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; adept at eliciting core issues and presenting ideas clearly
- Ability to function effectively in an environment with multiple and fluctuating priorities; manage multiple projects simultaneously; take direction from, or support, multiple leaders
- Decision-making, project leadership, and consultation skills
- Team player who contributes to a positive working environment and demonstrates initiative, ownership, and accountability
- Knowledge of healthcare environment as it relates to physicians, medical group practices, hospitals, ancillary services, and insurance/managed care
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time (Coastal, Triad, and Charlotte markets)
- Graduate degree preferred
- Experience in public health, community health, or non-profit program management a strong plus
