Vice President of Product Engineering, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $400,000/year USD

Crossover is seeking a deeply technical product leader to spearhead the modernization of 2 Hour Learning's AI-powered learning ecosystem. The role involves controlling the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration across the learning platform to unlock student potential at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Building and demonstrating comprehensive education product expertise to inform strategic direction
• Creating technical specifications that resolve critical technical decisions while prioritizing simplicity, efficiency, and sustainability
• Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the strategic objective of minimizing manual intervention
• Serve as the CTO of one or more education products, owning core competencies and delivering business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership

Requirements:

• Deep experience or interest in data-driven learning science
• 7+ years of experience making the important architecture and design decisions on software projects, such as the application of architecture design patterns or significant open source technologies
• 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years of experience in positions with full technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product
• Experience building product features that make advanced use of Generative AI
• Experience using Generative AI to simplify work processes
