About this role
Speechify is a company dedicated to ensuring that reading is never a barrier to learning. They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to ensure infrastructure scales efficiently, optimize key product flows, and construct resilient end-to-end systems.
Responsibilities:
- State of the art voice cloning
- Low latency and cost effective text to speech
Requirements:
- Proven experience in backend development: Python
- Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
- Efficiency in ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes
- Experience deploying NLP or TTS models to production
