About this role
Rangam is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to work fully remote. The role focuses on performance engineering for complex, distributed, data-intensive systems, requiring extensive experience in API and batch application performance testing.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in Performance Engineering for Complex, Distributed, Data-Intensive Systems
- Strong hands-on experience in API & Batch Application Performance Testing
- Expert knowledge of Latency, Throughput, Concurrency, Back-Pressure, Resource Utilization
- Proven expertise in Load, Stress, Spike & Capacity Testing
- Strong experience with JMeter and New Relic
- Deep understanding of Observability (Metrics, Logs, Traces, Golden Signals, RCA)
- Experience in Scaled Agile / ART Environment
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management skills
Requirements:

- Experience with Kafka / Event-Driven Systems
- Integration of performance testing into CI/CD Pipelines
- Exposure to AI-Assisted Performance & Observability Tools
