As a Materials Engineering/Materials Science Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in materials engineering, assisting in the design, development, and testing of advanced materials while collaborating with experts on innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of advanced materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate materials into our products
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new materials and technologies
- Support materials testing and characterization activities
- Stay updated with emerging trends and recommend their incorporation into product development
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Material Science, Material Engineering or similar field
- Must graduate December 2026 or later
- Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
- Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
- Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
- Familiarity with materials characterization techniques
- Knowledge of material properties and selection
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Be able to multitask and rapidly change focus among multiple projects and tasks
