Materials Engineering/Materials Science - Summer 2026 Intern

As a Materials Engineering/Materials Science Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in materials engineering, assisting in the design, development, and testing of advanced materials while collaborating with experts on innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of advanced materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate materials into our products
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new materials and technologies
• Support materials testing and characterization activities
• Stay updated with emerging trends and recommend their incorporation into product development

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Material Science, Material Engineering or similar field
• Must graduate December 2026 or later
• Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
• Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
• Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
• Familiarity with materials characterization techniques
• Knowledge of material properties and selection
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Be able to multitask and rapidly change focus among multiple projects and tasks
