The Senior Business Analyst for Direct To Consumer (DTC) will drive data-informed decision-making across revenue channels, partnering with various teams to optimize the DTC experience and enhance revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with studio teams to analyze DTC performance and deliver insights that directly drive DTC revenue growth across titles
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase DTC channel revenue, including funnel optimization, pricing strategy, offer design, and feature adoption
- Define, track, and report on key DTC KPIs, building dashboards and analyses to support leadership and studio decision-making
- Transform data insights into actionable recommendations for product and service quality optimization, identifying negative drivers impacting monetization, retention, and overall performance
- Own the setup, execution, and evaluation of A/B testing across DTC initiatives such as checkout flows, offers, bundles, loyalty, and VIP programs
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and studio teams to ensure proper tracking, experimentation frameworks, and data integrity across DTC systems
- Support revenue forecasting, scenario modeling, and business cases for new DTC initiatives
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Have a good understanding of the data sources and be able to communicate their limitations and nuances to the business
- Lead investigations into irregularities in the metrics, combining data from multiple sources to answer complex questions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience analyzing, visualizing, and interpreting data in a business or product analytics role
- Demonstrated strong business judgment, with the ability to generate meaningful insights and actionable next steps from complex, ambiguous data
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to distill large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Hive, or other querying languages used for large-scale data analysis
- Working proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation
- Comfortable partnering in technical discussions and cross-functional business initiatives
- Experience working in mobile gaming, DTC platforms, or broader consumer commerce ecosystems
- Familiarity with alternative payment methods, web-based checkout flows, or app store payment models
- Experience partnering with multiple product teams or studios in a multi-product or multi-tenant environment
