About this role
VitalEdge Technologies is a leading ERP software and solutions provider specializing in the construction, mining, forestry, material handling, and agriculture industries. They are seeking a Software Engineer to write clean, scalable code and contribute to the overall system architecture while mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, scalable code that follows our coding standards
- This is a full-stack developer position. You will be working on front-end interfaces as well as backend components
- Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices
- Work with other software developers to accomplish the product team goals
- Contribute to the overall system architecture and design
- Mentoring junior developers
- Manage projects, time, and deliverables effectively
Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical education or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of demonstrable experience
- 3+ years of Angular experience or equivalent
- Strong UI/UX skills
- Development experience using C# .NET
- HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Unit testing experience
- Experience developing AI tools
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo, and Confluence)
- Design patterns (e.g. Observer)
- Experience implementing and supporting scalable AWS solutions such as Lambda functions and RDS instances
